Hannover, Germany
The Hannover Messe 2026 was held at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Germany from April 20th to 24th, 2026. As a professional service provider specially invited by the German-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CHKD), CocreateIP European Patent Law Firm participated in a series of activities during the exhibition, such as providing intellectual property training for Chinese companies planning to expand into the German and European markets.
Founded in 1947, the Hannover Messe is one of the world’s leading industrial technology exhibitions, considered a major indicator of global industrial trade and a core source of the “Industry 4.0” concept. For Chinese companies seeking international development, Hannover is not only a window to showcase their manufacturing capabilities but also a key gateway to the European market.

As a professional organisation invited to the exhibition, CocreateIP was responsible for two key points during the exhibition:
Speech: Focusing on Intellectual Property Compliance Practices in the German Market
At the “Invest in China” main stage, Mr. Jinping Gong, the founder of CocreateIP, delivered a speech titled “Key Intellectual Property Issues for Chinese Companies Operating in Germany.” Mr. Jinping Gong pointed out that as more and more Chinese companies move from ‘exhibiting’ to ‘establishing a presence’ in Germany, intellectual property has transformed from a mere task for the legal department into a core factor influencing businesses’ rate of success. With a solid personal experience base, he systematically analyzed typical intellectual property risks faced by Chinese companies in the German market.
He emphasized that the essence of intellectual property servicing is not pursuing a large number of applications, but rather integrating compliance awareness into business decision-making. Management’s understanding and emphasis on the strategic value of intellectual property is crucial for company’s effective progress overseas in the intellectual property field.

During this time, the firm’s team exchanged views with several Chinese companies interested in entering the German and European markets, offering preliminary advice on issues concerning companies, such as legal compliance, market access, and intellectual property protection.

The CocreateIP team provided on-site consulting services at the Chinese Enterprises Operating in Germany booth.
CocreateIP European Patent Attorney Law Firm has long been committed to providing legal support for Chinese companies expanding into Europe. In the future, the firm will continue to work with the German-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and other partners provide its professional value in cross-sector services and intellectual property protection in order to help Chinese companies achieve steady and long-term development in the German and European markets.
